Offset tools are used to form two bends that are too close together for conventional forming methods. Offset bends also can be used to create a flat surface when you want to connect two panels or to strengthen the sheet metal.
Air Bending
Air bending is when the part is pressed partially downward against a die to create a given angle. The part still has clearance between itself and the bottom of the die.
Bottom Bending
Bottom bending is a bending process in which sheet metal is pressed against a bottom die featuring a V shape, which requires a higher accuracy than air bending.
Heavy Duty Bending
Bending thicker or high strength steel requires equipment that can handle heavy loads. Bending heavy duty plate materials requires large V-dies.
Hemming
Hemming is a sheet metal forming process in which sheets are joined by bending it to 180°, and is a great way to finish sharp edges and to strengthen parts of sheet metal products.
Large Radius Bending
This is the process of creating a bend with a large radius to material thickness ratio. Large radius tools consist of a holder and a tool. Tool Holders are suitable for various radius tools.
Offset Bending (Z- bending)
Offset tools are used to form two bends that are too close together for conventional forming methods. Offset bends also can be used to create a flat surface when you want to connect two panels or to strengthen the sheet metal.
Air Bending
Air bending is when the part is pressed partially downward against a die to create a given angle. The part still has clearance between itself and the bottom of the die.
